Just a few odds and sods...

as promised here are a few off my recent creations. not as many as i hoped as we're redecorating and my camera and most of my projects are hidden behind furniture!!

How it all started..... I wanted to make a record of a holiday to florida for Drew. He was far to young to ever remember and i wanted to show him how much fun wee had so i started an albeit basic scrapbook......









a tree decoration:




made from 6 circles sewn up the middle, then I've made a smocking look to it. by sewing two pieces together in one place then the next piece in two places. etc if i dont make sense let me know and i shall upload a tutorial.


Here are a couple of pictures of an advent calender that i knocked up. as you can see my crafting isnt brilliant but i'm getting there!!

My First post as a Blogger

Well as the title says this is my first post as an official blogger. I keep saying i should start my own blog but keeep putting it off, but now we're there I can hopefully share a little piece of me with you .
My First love will always be my family.

Then my love of all things crafty! I will post a few of my recent crafts with you tomorrow as at the moment i would like to share with you some pictures of the snow we've had today! Drew was a little over excited and decided throwing snowballs was far more fun than building a snowman and just when i thought he couldnt be any more like his dad he went and put snow down my trousers... funny but absolutely freezing!!
